HEA TestimoniesPastor Castelazo in Tuxtla says ... …Little Carlos was orphaned when he lost his mother and father in an accident. He came to the church for the first time when we gave out the backpacks to the children. (his name had been put on the list) Carlos brought his grandmother with him. He told us that in the 2 years since he lost his mother and father he has not had any Christmas gift because they had no money. Little Carlos and his grandmother surrendered their lives to Jesus that day! (Now their names are on the greatest list ... Their names are written in the book of life!!) Pastor Rojas of in Simojovel says … Some children who attend our church walk for an hour to arrive from their village. They invited a teenage girl to come with them. She had never been in a church before. When I preached the message of salvation she surrendered her life to Jesus! We have started a new mission in her parents house! (Praise the Lord for a new mission where there was no church before the Kingdom Kids Christmas party!) Pastor Aguilar of Yaluma says … On December 22nd we went to a community called - - (name deleted to protect the new believers in this sensitive area) … where there are no Christian people. We held a Christmas party for the children and used the colors of the KKC Backpack to share with them the gospel. It was so wonderful because 140 people, mostly children, came and 65 people surrendered their lives to Jesus!! We started a new mission (in a home) and 15 adults and many children are coming!! Pastor Alverez of Rios de Agua Viva Church in Chiapa de Corzo says … 10 days before the KKC Christmas party we invited the parents of Joel and Daniel to attend the Christmas party. They had many problems in their marriage. After a few days their father said that his children were counting down the days to attend the event but one day before the event a car that the boys were riding in crashed. They were not gravely injured, just beat up a little. The children shared with their parents how the Lord protected them… (The family missed the Christmas party) … Two days after the party we went to visit the family in their home and we shared the word of God with the parents and gave the children their backpacks. The mother and the father surrendered their lives to Jesus that day and have reconciled their marriage problems!! Pastor Sanchez from La Libertad says … One boy at the Christmas party told us that it was the first time that his father was ever in a church. The boy said, “My dad is so hard. He is so foul mouthed but it shocked me to see the change come over him as he was listening and praying in the church!” He told us that he was astonished as he watched his father praying and crying for Jesus to save him! Pastor Bastamante from La Trinitaria says … I want to testify to you all that since the time that we had the Christmas party many children have been coming to our church. They are very motivated and continuing to come. Thank you all for your motivating vision and for blessing our children! Pastor Perez from Chiapa de Corzo says … I want to share with you all what happened in our church. There was a family that we invited to the Christmas party. The whole family was in a big hug together and they were all crying during the time that we were preaching the salvation message. They said that they thought there did not exist any hope for their lives but as they heard of the gift that Jesus had for them they took it into their hearts. After crying through all of the preaching they surrendered their lives to Jesus and returned to their home smiling and happy for the great gift that they received! Pastor Vazquez from Ocosingo says … The day we gave out the Christmas backpacks many people who did not have Christ in their hearts came. After the salvation message we gave the call for salvation. The first person to raise his hand was a little boy José. As he came forward to pray he turned back and called for his mother and his brothers to come also. They did & it was so special to see this whole family surrendering their lives to Jesus because of the boldness of José! Pastor Martinez from Tuxtla Gutierrez … This is a note from a girl that came to the Christmas party … Hello, my name is Alexis. I wanted to tell you that I am very excited because this is the first time ever for me to come to a church. I do not have a mother because my mother had killed herself. My teacher from the school invited me to the Christmas party and they gave me a backpack (full of school supplies) for school. Today with my new backpack I am so happy because my old one was falling apart. Thank all of you brothers so much! Shall we bring them to Jesus only to leave them in despair? Certainly not! We are always so blessed by the courageous testimonies that come in from around the world. There are so many tremendous stories of how HEA's native missionary evangelists are impacting their world and the lives that are changed forever by the power of God! One of the stories we shared with you all in the past was about Manuel. He grew and sold marijuana in the remote mountains. He even gave it to his wife and children. Manuel surrendered his life to Jesus in 2004 and his life was radically changed forever. He shared Jesus with everyone he met. He began walking 2 1/2 hours on the mountain trails to share his faith in another village where 22 adults were saved and a new mission was established. One day as he was traveling on the trails between villages a group of men attacked Manuel and killed him leaving his family fatherless. Manuel had been in one of our leadership conferences just six days before he was killed. He and his family lived very deep in the mountains, (three hours climbing on the trails) in a very primitive village. In those mountains no one has much but when you lose your husband you lose everything. Manuel's wife Juana felt that there was no hope? that is until HEA (with the help of our partners) began supporting her and her children monthly. After meeting with our full time HEA church planter that works in that area, we assessed the needs and began giving them monthly support. Shortly after, with the help that HEA was giving her, she purchased wood boards to put on the sides of her little tar paper home. Jesus said, "Pure and perfect religion is caring for the widows and orphans." We packed for three hours, up into the mountains carrying food, blankets, pots and pans, utensils, soaps, towels and just about any thing else we could think of. ( supplied by the support that you all give.) We brought the things for three different widows and their children who live in those mountains. One of them lived in a village near Juana?s village. When she surrendered her life to Jesus the people of her village burned down her home! HEA helped her to build another home in a new location.. We can?t even begin to tell you how surprised they all were when we arrived with all of the gifts for them! They certainly knew that they were loved! Thank you for giving!! Glory to God! |
